Why give?

At CPR, we are working to imagine, research and help build a new progressive future. To do so, our independence is necessary.

CPR is a 501c3 independent center that functions outside university structures and supports scholars to work on topics and questions that may not be supported by these formal structures.

All donations will support our mission and the work of scholars and researchers. All donations are tax deductible.

Giving FAQs

  • Your donation will be used to support research and publications. We will use your donation to pay scholars, researchers and editors. We do not use donations to support fundraising efforts, administrative salaries or other indirect expenses.

  • Yes! CPR is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. We will provide you with a receipt and a letter that includes all the information you need to claim your donation on your tax returns.

  • In addition to our publicly available annual report, we send a summary annual budget to all our donors at the end of the year. For donors with donations above $500, we will let you know what exactly your donation supports.
